WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is tattooing individual hair strokes on to the skin with a handheld tool to create a natural looking brow.

WHO IS INELIGIBLE FOR MICROBLADING?

If your in great health then you should be good to go! If you have any of the following then you should NOT get this done..

  • Those under 18 years of age

  • People with diabetes

  • Pregnant and lactating women

  • People with glaucoma and people who are taking blood thinning medicines (e.g., aspirin).

  • People with skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, keloid disorder, undiagnosed rashes or blisters on the Site that is to be treated.

  • People with allergies to makeup 

  • Those with easily triggered postinflammatory hyperpigmentation are not good candidates

  • Those with transmittable blood conditions like HIV or Hepatitis

  • Active skin cancer

  • Are a hemophiliac

  • Have healing disorders, on blood thinners, uncontrolled high blood pressure or had mitral valve Disorder.

  • Those on any skin medication such as ro-accutaine, steroids which thin and oversensitive the skin

DOES THE ACTUAL MICROBLADING HURT?

We do apply topical numbing cream 20 min prior to the microblading procedure which does help ease any discomfort. Most clients have compared the sensation to eyebrow plucking which is tolerable. Once the skin is open we also apply a secondary numbing gel, after this numbing gel you more than likely will not feel any discomfort.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.

3 days before your appointment you should avoid the following:

  • Complete the Covid19 Questionnaire 24hrs prior to your appointment.

  • Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, or vitamin e.

  • Do not tan.

  • Do not wax or tint brows.

  • Do not drink alcohol.

  • Do not drink coffee.

Day Of Scheduled Appointment:

  • Face mask required.

  • Small children and pets are not allowed.

  • Please plan accordingly.

  • Any guest that accompanies you cannot be in the room once we begin the procedure and will have to wait in the hall.

WHAT SHOULD I AVOID DOING?

  • You should avoid putting  water, lotion, soap, or makeup on the eyebrows for at least 14 days.

  • Avoid sweating or scratching your brows.

  • Please put off those workouts and swim time for at least 14 days.

  • Excessive time in the sun can also cause the brows to fade in color.

  • Please wait until your scabs have completely fallen off to do any of the above.

We will discuss this more with you after the procedure is done.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

  • Microblading can last 6 months-1 year before you will need a touch up. This is depending on each individual, age and skin rejuvenation.

TOUCH UPS

  • Clients will be required to schedule a maintenance appointment every 6-12 months.

     * Results may vary.​

AFTER CARE

The following must be avoided during all 14 days post microblading procedure:

  • Practicing Sports

  • Increased sweating

  • Gardening 

  • Swimming

  • Bathing

  • Contact with animals 

  • Hot Sauna, hot bath, or Jacuzzi.

  • Sun tanning or salon tanning.

  • UV/UVA Rays or chemicals as they have been known to cause a shift in color and permanent fading. 

  • Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and\or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the face or neck.

  • Picking, peeling, or scratching of the micro pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment.

  • Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as garage or basement cleaning where there is a lot of airborne debris.

  • Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of wounds.

  • Driving in open air vehicles such as convertibles , boats, bicycles , or motorcycles.

  • Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post-care cream with a cotton swab.

*Every individual's skin is different! This may mean that treatments will eventually fade or completely disappear. Although the procedure is highly effective, there are some instances where the treatment will not work as well and in some cases not at all.
